1. Check the pipe and electrothermal fusion band for damage.

2. Align the pipes and clear any debris.

3. Use a single bar or sandbags to position the connecting pipes 20-30 centimeters above the ground (if there is an operating slot in the foundation, the pipes can be placed directly on the foundation), and align them horizontally.

4. Thoroughly clean foreign objects (including water vapor) from the outer surface of the pipe and the inner wall of the electrothermal fusion band with a cloth, and wipe off oil stains with alcohol.

5. Use the electrothermal fusion sleeve to tighten the connecting sections of the horizontally aligned pipes, with one end of the connecting wire in the inner ring. PE rods should also be inserted separately from both ends near this end. Insert approximately 50 mm below D400 and approximately 50-100 mm above D450.

6. Wrap the outside with cotton bundled straps and tighten with a locking device to ensure a tight fit between the electrothermal fusion sleeve and the pipe wall. The edges of the straps should be aligned with the edges of the weld.
