Causes and improvement methods of polyethylene anticorrosion tape degumming

Cause Analysis: Firstly, the adhesion between the adhesive layer and the back of the substrate is insufficient, meaning the adhesive's adhesion strength is less than its cohesive strength. Secondly, variations in winding tension during the manufacturing process of the anti-corrosion tape cause the adhesive to clump during unwinding. Thirdly, uneven dispersion of the adhesive material during preparation and poor anti-aging properties lead to delamination from the substrate.

Improvement Methods: In the base film manufacturing process, using rollers to increase the roughness on one side and smoothness on the other side effectively enhances the adhesion between the adhesive layer and the back of the substrate and reduces unwinding issues caused by variations in winding tension during manufacturing; the adhesive preparation should have moderate filler content to ensure uniform melt dispersion, and anti-heat aging materials should not be omitted. Prolonged storage of the adhesive should be avoided. Controlling the entire manufacturing process effectively improves the delamination phenomenon of polyethylene anti-corrosion tape.
