Heat shrink bands and sleeves are made of radiation cross-linked polyethylene base material with a layer of hot melt adhesive thermally laminated on it. The base material and the adhesive are two different materials. Therefore, we can see a clear layering with the naked eye. In fact, when you forcefully peel off that layer of adhesive, it can be completely torn off. Especially in winter, when the temperature is low, it is easy to tear off, while in summer this situation can be effectively prevented. If we encounter this situation, we should not immediately conclude that it is unqualified. Before use, we can preheat the adhesive side of the band with fire, and then follow the normal construction steps. In addition, nowadays many heat shrink sleeves use adhesive application. After the adhesive is applied to the inner surface of the heat shrink sleeve, the adhesive needs to be cut off, and there will be burrs at the edges, which can be torn off by hand. In fact, these are normal situations. As long as it is properly baked, and the hot melt adhesive evenly overflows at both ends of the heat shrink sleeve, there is no problem.
