Preparation:

1. Clean the surface of the workpiece to remove oil, grease, mud, and dirt, ensuring that it is clean, free of burrs, spatter, weld beads, defects, and water droplets. Rust removal should comply with GB/T 8923, with manual rust removal reaching Sa3 grade and mechanical rust removal reaching Sa2.5 grade.

2. After opening, thoroughly mix the two components of the solvent-free epoxy primer and let it stand for less than 10 minutes.

Installation:

1. Use a heat gun to dry the work surface and eliminate moisture. Preheat the surface to a temperature above 65℃.

2. Use a spreader to evenly apply the prepared solvent-free epoxy primer to the work surface, ensuring complete coverage. After surface drying, install the pipeline anti-corrosion heat shrinkable tape.

3. Wrap the pipeline anti-corrosion heat shrinkable tape around the joint in the radial direction. First, heat the fixing piece and adhere it to the joint of the heat shrinkable tape, forming a cylindrical shape. Then, peel off the release film from one end and move it to the correct working section. Begin heating the middle of the heat shrinkable tape width with a flame, heating evenly in the circumferential direction until it shrinks. Then, heat both sides radially to shrink under the action of heat, and the inner layer of hot melt adhesive will melt and fill the work surface, forming a tight and continuous anti-corrosion protection system with the pipeline anti-corrosion layer. (To improve construction quality and efficiency, it is recommended that two people cooperate on both sides). During installation, maintain a uniform flame temperature of 75℃, heat evenly during operation, and avoid air pockets and wrinkles. If bubbles or wrinkles occur during operation, use a roller tool to promptly press out the air and flatten the wrinkles. The entire installation process should be carried out at a uniform temperature. It is advisable to observe any adhesive overflow at both ends of the sleeve.
